Resolutions 2016 – Hampshire Federation’s response

Hampshire Federation’s response to the vote for the 2016 resolutions totalled 5279 votes: a higher percentage than last year, and this is climbing year by year.  The results from the 172 WIs are as follows:

1) Ban the microbead ……………………………………………………………………. 718

2) British fruit: reviving our heritage ……………………………………………… 281

3) Free sanitary protection for homeless women …………………………….. 679

4) Prevention of sudden cardiac death in young adults in the UK …….. 587

5) First aid to save lives ………………………………………………………………… 433

6) Mind or body – equal funding for care ……………………………………….. 578

7) Avoid food waste, address food poverty …………………………………….. 990

8) Appropriate care in hospitals for people with dementia …………….. 1013

It is interesting that there are so many close results this year; usually one resolution streaks ahead. i wonder if the final numbers for the whole country are like this. I think the results reflects the diversity of the resolutions and the fact that some of them are capable of being followed up by individual WIs.” Judy Bacon – Resolutions Advisor – HCFWI.
