As I am sure you remember, May 5th was the Lonely Bouquet day where, in collaboration with the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) the NFWI promoted the campaign. The idea of the Lonely Bouquet is to spread a little joy by making a small bouquet, or even just a single bloom, and leaving it somewhere for a random stranger to find.
Many of our WI Flyers were kind enough to prepare and leave bouquets around the Farnborough area. We have found out that one of our members also found a bouquet, put together by someone from the Frimley Flower Club, part of the NAFS. Joy was certainly spread -as you can see, thank you. We will all be more eagle eyed next year.
